Before you proceed, please understand that I am, for all intents and purposes, an amateur at this craft. I am completely self-taught and therefore limited by my own skill level, as well as by what my DAW (digital audio workshop) will and will not allow me to accomplish. My work relies on being given full creative liberty to arrange something for you based on specific information that you'll be asked to provide. If you're looking for a composition that follows a rigid format or genre, I will likely be unable to make something we're both happy with.If you're comfortable with letting me do my thing, then let's get started!↓ ↓ ↓
Information
If you're looking for a unique, human-created theme song for your content, you've come to the right place!Price: $30
You get one (1) custom song for a subject of your choosing.Subject can be an original character, a couple, a setting, a campaign, or just your personal content in general
(for example, if you do Twitch or Youtube). The first thing I ask for alongside visual references is a summary of the subject's personality if it's a character, or a brief general description if it's something else. I prefer these to be as succinct as possible; too much text/information will overwhelm me and it will be harder for me to form a vision. Then I ask you to tell me three things that you want me to know about the subject.
Examples: What sort of setting are they from? What do they like? What are their hobbies?Lastly, if you have any aesthetic/moodboards, you're welcome to share them. If you don't, a selection of keywords is fine!Any AI-generated references will NOT be tolerated and if I catch you using them, I will reject your commission outright.↓ ↓ ↓
Terms of Service
You must be 18 or over to commission me. I will not interact with or accept payment from minors.Unless otherwise stated, commissions are non-refundable. That said, I will usually offer to make small adjustments to ensure that we can both be satisfied with what I create for you.I don't expect great delays to happen terribly often, but in the event that they do, I will always keep you up to date. If for whatever reason I cannot finish your commission with a reasonable turnaround and quality after I've started working on it, I will refund half the commission price and finish it for you once things are under control.Because my process relies heavily on creative freedom, what I compose may not be exactly what you had in mind. If this is the case but you still like the song, you can use it for absolutely anything you wish.If the song I submit to you is not one you like, and you ask me to make another, the first will remain mine to be recycled elsewhere. You may not keep a song if you ask me to make another unless you pay for both.I reserve my right to refuse or cancel a commission if I do not feel I can complete a quality piece in a timely manner. There may be certain genres/vibes that I may be unable to realistically capture, or life may simply get in the way. What you're getting when you commission me, aside from the song itself, is the rights to use the song for your content. However, the copyright itself remains mine, as I am the original creator of it. Therefore, I reserve my right to distribute the tracks I create to music streaming platforms in my efforts to get my work out to a wider audience and bring in more business. The tracks are still "all rights reserved", meaning anyone besides the commissioner is prohibited from using the music for their own content.I reserve the right to use any and all of my works as examples for future clients. However, you may request that your commission be kept private or anonymous.Due to the sheer number of commissions I've completed so far and will likely yet complete, and the difficulties/limitations of most major music hosting platforms, most finished commissions will no longer be uploaded to the web as of June 2024.
